There’s plenty of free events for families taking place in Great Yarmouth this May. The packed line-up includes a kids-go-free Family Fun Race Day at the Great Yarmouth Race Course (27th May), an all-day celebration of comic book characters, cars and props at Mini Con event (28th May), plus an hysterical-to-watch annual Mascot Race at Venetian Waterways (30th May). The free events programme culminates with the spectacular Out There festival (30th May- 1st June). Alongside the events, families heading to Great Yarmouth can enjoy all the new season theme park additions at the Pleasure Beach, a retro games arcade at Merrivale Model Village, a VIP turtle experience at SEA LIFE, and a new dinosaur exhibition at the Time and Tide Museum. Gorleston Pavilion's Summer Show Time is back with a Show every Tuesday until October. There are also racing thrills with both motor racing and horse racing fixtures – plus the Great Yarmouth Racecourse also doubles as the venue for the main Comic Con event (1-2nd June) |
